Dau Tu - As many as 200 enterprises from 20 countries and territories nationwide will participate in three exhibitions on supporting industries in Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi on Sept. 4-6, according to Deputy Managing Director Duangdej Yuaikwarmdee of Thailand-based Reed Tradex Co.

The Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2013 will include InterPlas Vietnam for plastic and rubber, InterMold Vietnam for mold and dye making and Automotive Vietnam on automation for production and assembly lines.

The events are expected to attract over 10,000 local industrialists who will examine the latest technology, solutions and services.

The expos will is expected to help Vietnam join the global supply chance in the near future. This will be a good chance for exhibitors to meet and wider business networks, particularly Japanese investors, to expand their business operations in Vietnam, said Dao Thu Vinh, deputy head of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade.

Vietnam has become an ideal destination for foreign investors in the field of industrial production over the past decade, but many firms complain about its weak supporting industries, said Mr. Yuaikwarmdee.
